Nritya Parva
It’s the 12th anniversary of Munich’s Indian dance school Abhinaya-Indischer Tanz, and they’re celebrating with a performance unlike any other! Abhinaya Indian Dance presents “Nritya Parva,” a celebration of Indian classical dance and beyond.
This production combines Bharatanatyam and Margi styles with Indo-German contemporary compositions. A Bharatanatyam solo composition will be presented by Sneha Bhardwaj, the company’s artistic director. The act will also incorporate pan-Asian folk dances and the Sammilana project, which mixes ballet and Bharatanatyam.
Experience Kala (ART) this weekend, and relish in a delight that goes far beyond the senses!

Vesakh Fest
Join Munich Buddhists in celebrating Buddha’s birthday, the most important festival in the Buddhist annual calendar – rain or shine!
The festival features a diverse cultural program that includes various Buddhist traditions, meditation, lectures, traditional music and dances, and a children’s program, ending with candle ceremony.
Vietnamese, Thai, and Tibetan delicacies are available. All events are free of charge, but a small donation is appreciated.
