Set yourself up for a different public transportation route, because a new Munich MVG Strike is heading over to kick off the weekend. We’ve got the wrap up here to help you steer clear of a delay.

When Is The Munich MVG Strike Happening?

In Munich, Nuremberg, and other Bavarian cities, the Verdi trade union has announced a full-day local transport warning strike for this Friday May 19, 2023 at 3:30am to Saturday May 20, 2023 at 3:30 a.m

Who Will The Munich MVG Strike Affect?

The upcoming strike will affect the ubahns, trams and select buses. So if any of these are in your route plans, better check for a new transportation method.

MVG says the strike will affect Munich greatly, but the company estimates that about half of the city’s buses will remain in service. Fortunately, regional trains and Sbahns are not run by the same union and should be running as usual.
