This weekend is filled up with so many free events and great selections of activities for all ages. Have a look below to find your weekend plans in Munich.

The Comedy Underground English Open Mic

Come and enjoy a free stand-up comedy show featuring comedians from around the world! Reserve your spot with a free ticket available through the link provided.

Alternatively, if you’re a comedian looking to perform, simply write “spot” on the Instagram post. There are no restrictions on the type of comedy allowed, so feel free to experiment with new or unconventional material.

The event welcomes performers of all levels, including newcomers. Doors open at 19:15 and the show begins at 20:00.

 Work A Tonic After Work Party

Come and join us for the upcoming Work-a-Tonic party, held at the Eisbachterrasse or the Tivoli (in case of rain). There will be spritzers, gin and tonics, and tasty street food to celebrate the best part of the day together. A DJ will keep things lively, so come enjoy and unwind after work!

VIP lounges are available (can accommodate up to eight people) for €199. Lounges come with one bottle of gin, ten mixers with service, and a chill lounge area, perfect for lounging in style.

English Yoga & Tea

Leopold Corso Street Festival

Leopold Corso is back for the May 13-14 weekend! Enjoy a weekend of live music, cabaret, art shows and more with two full days of celebration.

Shows start at 4 p.m. each day but art can be viewed as early as 11 a.m. A full breakdown of the program can be found here.

Another Yard Party

Amari Bar is hosting a new Saturday party, “Another Yard Party”! With DJ Sucuk and DJ Bass running the evening, tickets are cheaper ahead of time than at the door so jump on in before the weekend comes!

Dok Fest 2023

Come on out to Munich’s “Festival of Festivals” for cinematic history. For almost 50 years, this festival has aimed to promote creative documentary films, and today, it does exactly that.

For those who wish to experience retrospectives on Indian, Cuban, Russian and Arabian documentary cinema, this is an event you’ll want to be part of!

When: May 13, 2023 & May 14, 2023 // 11 a.m – 10 p.m

Werkroom XXL Eurovision Viewing Party

Munich’s largest Eurovision Song Contest Public Viewing takes place on May 13th! The ten-features act starts at 7:45 pm, with Pinay Colada, Barbara Fox, and James Roberts hosting the event.

The entrance will open two hours earlier at 6 pm with more tables to accommodate at least 350 people in front of the stage. Tickets for the opening show, public viewing, and after-party are available for €15 for the first 100 tickets and €18 afterwards.

There will be an after-party featuring DJ Sunshine from Hamburg and DJ JayRo, and a betting game with a chance to win a bottle of champagne and an official Eurovision fan package!

When: Saturday, May 13, 2023 // 6 p.m – late

Where: Brunecker Str. 7
