It’s time to dust off the costumes and get ready to boogie – Munich Fasching festivities have begun!
On Sunday, February 04, 2024 at the 13th minute of the 13th hour (um, AKA 1:13pm), Munich will be kicking things off with its annual Faschingsumzug der Damischen Ritter parade, which has been kicking off Fasching fun in style since 2006.
Imagine colourful floats, musical performances and more, from 42 different groups, of over 1000 people who will be walking a parade all through the inner city!
The Munich Fasching Parade Route
This year the parade route will go through Frauenstrasse, Blumenstrasse and Corneliusstrasse, then continue down Rosental and Färbergraben, via Kaufingerstrasse and Marienplatz until they hit the Old Town Hall.

What: A fun, colourful parade to get you in the Fasching spirit!
When: Sunday, February 04, 2024 and 1:13pm
Where: The parade will start at Frauenstrasse go down Blumenstrasse and Corneliusstrasse, through Rosental and Färbergraben, via Kaufingerstrasse and Marienplatz to the Old Town Hall.
