Struggling to find the right meetup group or professional network in Munich? It can sometimes be hard to network with international women in Germany, that’s why our Bored in Munich team decided to step up and create a solution!

This past April, the team kicked off their first event for the new summer event series. And due to such a great response has continued on forward in the mission to support the local professional community.

By offering a safe, inclusive space for women/female identifying of all backgrounds to meet up and network!

Network In Munich: What Is The Monthly Mingle Event?

We love this city for its village sized feeling, but are keen on working to get that feeling in to the social and professionals spheres as well.

As expats living and working in Munich, we know all too well how isolating it can be to move and work abroad. We want to create a safe space for cultivating meaningful connections over our shared experiences of living, working and managing the ever so papier crammed life that is being a professional in Germany!

And, as always, we find the best way through it, is together!

When we say that the event series is intended for international women, that does not mean it is exclusive. Whether you’re local or not, everyone is welcome! To ensure that those who are weary of their German skills are not intimidated, it’s named as such to communicate the language focus.

Additionally, as one of our key focas areas is inclusivity, we also highlight in our communications that our events are open to all career-oriented women and FLINTA (German acronym for women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, agender) in Munich.

(Whenever we refer to women, please know this also applies to all FLINTA as well!)
