Listen guys, no shade towards Haribo but do you ever crave the cavity-inducing sweetness of American classics like Reese’s peanut butter cups, Hershey’s Cookies & Creme, Pop Tarts and more?
Allow us to scrape you off Struggle Street.
We recently stumbled upon Fisher’s Sweet Shop, a tiny store tucked away on the bottom floor of PEP (Einkaufscenter Neuperlach) and it was like getting punched in the face with sweet, sweet nostalgia. We assume it’s new because of its sparse online presence, and also because we’ve never seen it before, but anyways in case you’ve never seen it, HERE it is in all its glory:
Slush puppies, Reese’s, Hershey’s, Pop Tarts, M&Ms, Aunt Jemima’s syrup, Nerds, Sunkist soda, root beer, Twinkies, Canadians: they even have KD!!!!
This is not a drill.
Prices are surprisingly not too terrible (apart from Twinkies, which are literally 10 euros a box… yikes). Most things were about 2-3 euros apiece, including their huge variety of soda.
At the moment, they even have huge advent calendars stocked with these brands for about 10-15 euros.
If you’re craving a taste of home (or you know, diabetes), then here are the details:

Here are some more photos to tide you over. It’s a tiny shop, but has a pretty good selection of classics:
