West End Jam

Christian Schwarzbach will be leading an evening session showcasing his skills on guitar and vocals.

The evening will kick off with an exciting set by the house band, followed by an open jam session where everyone can join in. Doors open at 8:30 PM, and there is no entry fee.

Kulturstrand Days At The Beach

Enjoy an afternoon in the sun and the sand at Kulturstrand while listening to the electronic beats of Felix Larson. A free, public event, everyone is welcome to sit back and soak up the rays and the music.

Summer Tollwood Festival Begins

Experience 32 days of summer bliss at the Tollwood Festival, where music enthusiasts, culture lovers, and wanderers alike gather at the Olympic Park. Against the backdrop of the vibrant “Market of Ideas,” you’ll encounter captivating theatre troupes and mesmerizing performers throughout the festival grounds. The air will be filled with live music from across the globe emanating from various tents.

Take your time to explore the market, featuring arts and crafts, organic gastronomy from all continents, and engaging activities for visitors to participate in.

Dance For All

An open forum for anyone and everyone with any or no dance experience. Come and participate at whatever level you’d like (just watching is participation too!) with no right or wrong way to move! If you feel like moving, come on over, the more the merrier!

When: Saturday, June 17// 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.

O-Ecstasy An Aesthetic Awakening
Performance & Paintings by Ohrenschall

Munich Events Weekend 24 O-Ecstasy

Many works are in the exhibition by the late German artist Andreas Ohrenschall (R.I.P. 2021).
Due to tragic circumstances on 18.09.2021 he lost his life.

The exhibition has been curated by his sons, Marcel and Denis – an exclusive experience in the rooms of Broke.Today. Expect great performances, great artworks, and a journey through the former “Mammon” settings.

The courtyard is also open this time, so feel free to enjoy a beer and some fresh food there.
Neapolitan delicacies are also provided by Soul Kitchen and co!

Film And Music Festival

From June 16th to 18th, 2023, a film and music festival will be taking place at Shaere!

From Friday to Sunday, three films of various genres will be screened daily for children, teenagers, and adults. The film program will be accompanied by music acts that will take place before and after the movies.

The community kitchen will be providing food and beverages. Program can be found here, and (free) tickets can be reserved here.

When: Friday, June 16 & Saturday, June 17 // 2 p.m.

Sunday, June 18 // 12 p.m.

The 865th Munich City Birthday

The old town area between Odeonsplatz and Sendlinger Straße comes alive with an adventure-filled street festival. Multiple stages showcase live music and dance performances, while visitors can also enjoy information booths, activities, a beer garden, an arts and crafts market, a family program, city tours, and more! (all the great costumes are probably our favourite!)

The city’s birthday in 2023 follows the theme of “With flowers & trumpets,” which is reflected in various ways throughout the event. Marienplatz and Rindermarkt feature green pop-up gardens, and there is a diverse music program for people of all ages to enjoy.

When: Saturday, June 17 // 10:30 a.m. – 11 p.m.

Sunday, June 18 // 11 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Where: Old Town (old between Odeonsplatz and Sendlinger Straße)

Table Tennis And Tunes

Come enjoy games and dancing at the picturesque Minna Thiel, located in the heart of the art district! At table tennis & tunes, not only will there be a wild round-robin tournament, but the turntables will also be spinning!

Bring your paddles and get ready for an illustrious day on Minna Thiel’s beautiful green meadow. DJ FM and DJ FREUND from electroamore will be at the turntables, and you’ll be at the table tennis table.

When: Sunday, June 18 // 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Where: Bernd-Eichinger-Platz 1
