The Rocky Horror Picture Show ✨Giveaway✨

Kick off your weekend by joining in a great giveaway!

This weekend Munich’s fanciest cinema (welcome drinks, massive lounge chairs and a fun food button…oh yes) is hosting Kinofest 2022! For the entire days of September 10th and September 11th all showings cost only 5€ per ticket, but that’s not even the best part!

On Sunday September 11th, Gloria Palast Cinema will hold a special event showing of the cult classic (one of our absolute favourites) The Rocky Horror Picture Show and we are giving away 6 VIP tickets!

Pop-up Live Music Stage at FEZI

The Pop up stage is a unique mobile youth culture offer of the Kreisjugendring MΓΌnchen-Stadt (KJR). It is a small mobile stage that offers cultural activities for local adolescents and young adults in Munich.

This weekend’s pop up stage event is a fun free live music event at Wettersteinplatz, but we’d recommend you’d also keep an eye on their additional upcoming events as well.

When: September 9,2022 // 5pm to 9pm

Where: Wettersteinplatz

Gaertnerplatz Open Air

For those of you looking for a cool and casual dose of culture, the GΓ€rtnerplatz Open Air is the perfect pick!

This centrally located event is host to a two day line up of some of the city’s best local bands as well as the Munich Symphony Orchestra. The lineups kick off both days later in the afternoon, making it the perfect easy listening addition to your days.

Sommer Quartier Open Air Closing

All of you looking to dance your way into the new season, the Sommer Quartier closing open air event is the place to be.

With two days, 19 hours and 7 DJ’s in its cozy hidden central location AND free drinks, it’s a clear must. Just make sure to register for your free ticket online here

Tag Des Offenen Weins-5€ Wine Tour Throughout Munich

Looking for a city adventure this weekend? Then why not join in the Tage des offenen weins in Munich!

This multi location city wine tour includes 15 great locations with wines from 13 different German regions. The locations are a great mix of local wine shops and vinotheques where you can try 3 wines for only 5€

Run For Life

Looking to get in a good workout this weekend? Why not pair it with a good cause!

On Sunday the Run for Life charity event will take place in Munich. Hosted by MΓΌnchner Aids Hilfe, this charity run costs 20/24€ per entry with the proceeds going towards HIV prevention.

Participants can choose to run 5, 8 or 10km with the first run beginning at 2pm in the Englischer Garten. Unfortunately the online registration is closed, but anyone interested still has the option to arrive on Sunday at noon to register! For more details in English have a look at their website here

Interactive Light Installation In Fraunkirche

On Sunday the Tag des offenen denkmals will take place and in one of Munich’s most famous monuments, the Frauenkirche, will hold a special interactive light installation from We Are Video.

Beginning at 6pm, We Are Video’s interactive art installation VITRUM will create stunning projection focused on the stained glass design of the church windows.

We highly recommend you drop by and your weekend with this awe inspiring limited art event!
