Olympic Swimming Pool Grand Re-Opening & Open House
Finally! After what feels like a lifetime of restoration, the Olympic Swimming Pool at Olympic Park is reopening TODAY with a free party for the public from 3pm onwards. Munich Airport Christmas Market
And so it begins! The first Christmas market of the season opens up TODAY but here’s the catch: it’s all the way at the airport. The main markets in Munich won’t be opening until next week at the earliest, so if you can’t resist that urge to drink glühwein, you can enjoy all the Xmas market fun at the airport’s MAC Forum.

Literaturfest München 2019
And if books are more your thing, the Literaturfest will be taking over the city over the next few weeks, featuring 120+ international authors! Highlights include the book show at the Gasteig, the Geschwister-Scholl-Prize ceremony, the festival’s birthday party on Saturday and many special guests. More info here.

Southern Germany’s largest photography exhibition will also be taking place this weekend at the Praterinsel, with a showcase of over 180 photographers’ work, including legendary names like Roger Fritz.
