Hello beautiful bored people of Munich! We don’t know about you all, but we are thrilled to see things starting to really look like summer in this city! (fingers crossed we keep this good weather)

Munich is got a pretty bustling event list this weekend with fun for everyone, however if you happen to be in the group of those interesting in escaping the city to live that good 9€ ticket life, then we also have some recommendations for you in one of our recent posts about great lakes nearby. Season Openings, Live Events, and Open Airs This Weekend in Munich

StuStaCulum Festival

Germany’s largest student organized festival is coming back with a bang for its 32th event! Trying to stay busy on a budget? Then this 100% volunteer ran, non-profit event is a perfect choice with the large line up it has in store for only 12€ a ticket.

From June 15th to June 18th, StuStaCulum will have a line up of over 50 live acts (a great variety of genres) as well as a bunch of fun food and drinks.

When: June 15-18, 2022

Where: Studentenstadt in Freimann

Cost: 12€

Tollwood Sommerfestival Opening

Its finally time again to kick off Munich’s favorite summer festivals! Starting from June and going until July, the Tollwood Sommerfestival is fun, food, music and so much more!

When: June 16 to July 17, 2022

Where: Olympiapark

The 2022 King Ludwig Cup- Gay & Lesbian Tennis Tournament

The King Ludwig cup will be held throughout the weekend from Friday to Sunday. So whether you’d like to come and join in on the competition or simply enjoy some spectating of this fun sport with your community, both are welcome!

This favoured annual gay and lesbian tennis tournament in Munich is sanctioned by the GLTA, more information on the organization and event details can be found on their website here

Munich Gin Festival

Looking to let the good times be-gin? Then this weekend Gin Fest is just for you!

This two day event is a great place to explore, connect with local gin makers, test over 50 different types of gin and of course enjoy the event after party! And your ticket even comes with a free drink to get the fun kicked off properly.

Kulturstrand- Days at the Beach

Our favourite city beach is back and has an exciting regular party program; Days at the Beach.

Entry is free, a full bar is available and a DJ with a great set at this little beach escape near Glockenbach. This week they will kick off the event at 4pm and go on into the night with some local electro legends.
