Free Events, Activities and Festivals This Weekend in Munich
This weekend is filled up with so many free events and great selections of activities for all ages. Have a look below to find your weekend plans in Munich.
Bavarian Dance Course
The Department of Culture and the HofbrΓ€uhaus Munich invite you to attend free dance classes titled “Bairisch Tanzen” in the ballroom of the HofbrΓ€uhaus – no registration required!
Under the expert guidance of dance masters Magnus Kaindl and Katharina Mayer, participants don’t need any previous dance knowledge to come and learn! Solo dancers are also welcome.
All dancers welcome from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., younger dancers from 9:00 to 10:30 p.m.
When: Thursday, June 29 // 7:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

Monaco Velo Club Afterwork Ride
MVC After Work rides take place every Thursday (except on public holidays).
Divided into two performance groups: Cappucco Group (average speed of 26-28 km/h) enjoys a moderate and sociable pace and waits for everyone at the climbs (maximum 15 people)
and the Ristretto Group: (average speed of 30-32 km/h) has a sporty pace with the occasional town sign sprint (maximum 15 people)!
The meeting point for all participants is between 5:45 pm and 6:00 pm at MVC CafΓ©. Registration is required.

Jam Session At Kongress Bar
Every month, music lovers can enjoy Kongress Bar bringing together talented musicians from different genres to create unforgettable moments.
Experience the thrill and energy from musicians gathering on stage and combining their skills. Jam session provides the perfect opportunity to meet new musicians and learn from them. As always, the evening will kick off with host Adriano and his band.

Open Adidas Community Session At Sugar Mountain
Come join the open community training with Adidas, no registration required!
Sessions take place every Friday at 4:00 p.m. at the Sugar Pitch on the Sugar Mountain property. The training period runs until the end of September.

Munich Philharmonic Student Concert
Once a year, the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra performs a symphony concert exclusively for students.
This year, the musicians will present Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana” at the Isarphilharmonie in the Gasteig HP8. Following the concert, a party will be taking place in Hall E. David Hausdorf, who was just on stage as a cellist with the Philharmonic Orchestra, will be DJ’ing the event.

Β Summer Tollwood Festival

Β Little American Oktoberfest
Sunday funday is planned with the 14th Annual Little American Oktoberfest at Waldwirtschaft!
Local American musician Linda Jo Rizzo will be leading the country-western, rock and pop music entertainment with a great line-up of different show acts, bull riding, mini golf, loads of fun activities for families and kids.
