There is never a dull moment in Munich and this weekend is no exception. We’ve got music, we’ve got carousels, and we’ve even got lip sync battles! Netflix might have to wait this weekend.

This weekend is filled with so many free events and great selections of activities for all ages. Have a look below to find your weekend plans in Munich.

The Auer Dult

We mentioned it last weekend and guess what’s here again, the Auer Dult! If you missed your chance last time, there is no time like the present.

The times of each event can be found on their website. To get to the event you can take Tram line 18, Buses 52 and 62 to Mariahilfplatz or Subway (U-Bahn) lines U1/2 (Stations Fraunhoferstraße or Kolumbusplatz).

This weekend you can enjoy a carousel ride, all sorts of gastronomy, as well as the markets…And it might even be possible to find rare and historical items there. Good luck searching!

Lovers Lip Sync Battle

If you went to the thrift store event the Lost Weekend held last weekend you know this iconic cafΓ©/bar. This Saturday the Lost Weekend is getting just a little bit more iconic by hosting some lip sync battles!

The event will be sure to serve some of that Halloween vibes you been craving with spooky themed lip synce battles. It will feature two fantastic drag queens of Munich Eve’N’More and Pinay Colada.

Creepy costumes are highly encouraged, and the first three spectacularly spooky visitors will receive free entry. So if you’re looking to test run a costume for Halloween and enjoy some glamorous people battle it out lyrically, this is the event for you.

Flea Markets In Munich

Neighborhood Wide Flea Markets

New weekend new Flea market y’all. Do you want to find a new favourite sweater? Meet some lovely local Munich residents? Perhaps you just didn’t get the chance to go last time.

Well have no fear! The next hofflohmarket is here. Similar to last week’s neighbourhood market, this one allows residents to sell goods on their own front lawns for a cozy suburban flea market.

So if you are in the mood for some shopping and keen to know more of Munich, try the Neighbourhood market this Saturday in Sendling!

When: 10A.M.// 4P.M.

Night Flea Market

Are you bored with Zara, but need to do some shopping this weekend? Guess who is still here to provide that wonderful alternative… That’s right! It is the Night Flea Market.

This market has a unique atmosphere with live music, street food (loads of tasty trucks!), and drinks available. Stop by if you are a fan of sustainable fashion! You can buy tickets on their website.

The market takes place every Saturday of October, so if you can’t make it this weekend try again next week!

7 Years Of BahwΓ€rter Thiel

The BahnwΓ€rter Thiel is a cultural project consisting of renovated trams, subway cars, and shipping containers. It is a vibrant and lively community space that even boasts communal gardens.

Help them celebrate 7 years of operation this weekend by attending some of their great programs. This Friday they have 7 years signalman Thiel and a graffiti workshop! I mean, who hasn’t ever wanted to spray paint a building?

And If you love to work with your hands, Saturday might be the day for you. They will host a construction workshop as well as a ceramics class. More information can be found on their site below.

Pop Up DJ Bike At Baldeplatz

Interested in a spontan Sunday funday activity? Well, this unique Munich pop-up series may be just what you are looking for!

The Dj Bike is a non profit project that is every Sunday in October. Each pop-up performance is held at a different location with two to four sound artists will play on the Dj Bike for a total of three hours.

It’s a free and fun event we’d recommend you don’t miss. Just simply show up and enjoy the surprise show!

When: October 23,2022 // 4P.M-7P.M

Cost: Free Admission, show up and enjoy!

Secret Sundaze Day Clubbing

How do you feel about partying on a Sunday? Love it or hate it the Secret Sundaze has a special private event that is sure to tickle your fancy.

This Sunday they will be partying from 4P.M. until midnight. Who cares if its 4P.M. if we can make up with next week’s daylight savings. With all the best beats and a fabulous 5€ frozen margarita special, you shouldn’t miss this limited opportunity!
