Birdie is a cozy location that offers a nice winter atmosphere, complete with a hut, tasty drinks, a fireplace, and a fairy light-lit ice-stock rink. The place is typically open to serve lunch (we’d recommend eating there in general!), and it’s also a great event location to have in mind throughout all seasons, not just winter!

Depending on your needs, they provide booking options ranging from one person to a crew. As the name mentions, Birdie has a nice deli vibe that’s perfect for a cozy feeling inside and out.

One thing we like about them is the appointment booking options, they have an online calendar where you can select the day you want to visit and easily book it!

Fitzroy is conveniently close to Ostbanhof in Werksviertal (also a great location for Christmas Markets!). Australian food is the speciality of this popular eatery, along with its signature rooftop view, they also have some of the city’s best bitters you’ll definitely need to try!

They have a great ice rink on their rooftop terrace, which you can also book online through their handy calendar page! You can play with teams of 4 or 5 against each other (a maximum of 10 people at once at the rink). And if you happen to be in the mood for a couple drinks while you play, you can easily order something through their friendly staff or check out the Glühweinstand right there on the roof!

Fantastic service is one of the main reasons why this establishment is so popular. Whether you’re there for a game or just a great winter view, we are always big fans of the overall environment. Wednesday to Saturday, the cost is 99€ per 45 minutes and Sunday to Tuesday it’s 79€ per 45 minutes.

Opening times: Fitzroy opens at 12 p.m. and closes at 1 a.m., but the location closes at 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

This Winter Wonderland turned Winterfest biergarten is located at the front of Paulaner Nockherberg on its namesake hill in Munich’s Au district.

The Winterfest at Nockherberg runs from November until the end of January 2024, so plenty of time to grab your gang of friends together and go try your hand at some Bavarian curling! (or of course, some tasty Bavarian winter treats…we vote for both!).

The location itself is a wonderful treat for all you winter aesthetic lovers, with a collection of small cozy huts outside to join in and outside stands full of steamy mulled wine with a covering of fairy lights above.

And there is even a taxi stand, a subway/train station, and a metro bus stop within a minute’s walk of Nockherberg making it an exceptionally great spot to get to and from.

The Bamberger Haus, is a lesser known location tucked away in Munich’s Schwabing district. It is host to many great events, especially it’s winter-themed events.

Their beer garden is decked like a winter wonderland from November to March. They have indoor curling rinks where you can play while sipping mulled wine and snacking on Bavarian treats.
