Munich Outdoor Sports Festival: Program Highlights

Hans-Jochen-Vogel-Platz

In the main plaza, try out over two dozen different outdoor sports! From BMX to archery, snowboarding to hang gliding. If you want to check it all out, make sure you come early!

Olympic Lake & Theatron

Where all things water-related happen, the Olympic Lake will showcase dragon boating, canoeing, and water rescue, while the Theatron will play host to dance battles throughout the day.

Olympiaberg

Olympic Park’s green space will host classic open-field sports like lacrosse, frisbee, and disc golf. There will also be a high ropes course to check out as long as you’re good with heights!

Roof Small Olympic Hall

Up in the Olympic Hall, high-octane and high-intensity awaits! American and flag football promise serious competition and ninja warrior and parkour challenges to test your strength and agility.

Peninsula

For those wanting a little more green and a little less shouting, you can check out the peninsula for some golfing, exercising, or pedal boats. Be warned, there will also be pickleball, rugby, and rowing happening so don’t expect it to be too quiet.

Olympic Stadium with M-net Flying Fox

Up in the nest, you can fly over the Olympic Stadium on the 200m long M-net Flying Fox, starting from 40 meters up on the tent roof.

Some spots were raffled off in advance, but you can still win a flight by registering at the M-net information stand on Hans-Jochen-Vogel-Platz. Raffles for flights will occur hourly from 11 am to 4 pm. You can find more information here.
