Needless to say, a lot has changed in the past week due to the rapid spread of COVID-19, but one thing’s for sure, between the newly imposed lockdown rules and the strict closures of all shops/restaurants deemed non-essential, one of the groups hit hardest by this situation are Munich’s small businesses.
SO, through plenty of sleuthing on Instagram and research online, we’ve put together a list of local Munich businesses that you can still support… even online.
NOTE: We are certain there are hundreds more we can add to this list, so please feel free to comment with other Munich small businesses that are running special deliveries/online shops, or send us an email at [email protected]
DOUBLE NOTE: You can also support local businesses by buying vouchers for future use! Click here for a list of Munich businesses who are selling them at the moment.
First: Remember Many Restaurants are Still Delivering
One of the easiest (and most delicious) ways you can help support Munich’s local food/bev businesses is by getting meals delivered straight to your door.
Many eateries are now available via Lieferando, who offer contactless delivery, but many others have set up their own delivery services as well. You can click here to read about the master list of delivery spots that have been compiled by local food blogger, Gastro Benni.
