The Bavarian Museum Academy is putting on a queer exhibit called βTO BE SEEN. queer lives 1900β1950″. If you want more information on LGBTQ+ history this is a must see.
Attendees will be exposed to both a historical and contemporary look on queer history. The exhibit is boasts a guided tour as well as workshops and specialist lectures.
LGBTQ+ visibility is an important aspect of Munich history and the communities still faces many challenges making it more important than ever to understand the history of the community!

Werksviertal Street Art Tour
Are you a fan of street art? Did you know that Munich has a rich history of urban artwork? Then maybe check out Werksviertel-Mitte Street Art Tour.
This 90 minute guided tour takes you into the decades of mural paintings. It will teach you how it was pioneered in Munich, what art techniques are used as well as what influences street art.
Be aware that the tour does take place outside so dress appropriately!

HARRY KLEIN GOES ART GALLERY
Have you ever been to Harry Klein? Maybe you know this as your favourite night club. Maybe you’ve seen a drag queen here before. Have you ever seen visual art here before?
This weekend Harry Klein and the Kunsthalle are teaming up to provide a unique art experience. Artists inspired visual effects in combination with DJ’s will be a must see and hear.

The Auer Dult on Mariahilfplatz
Taking place three times a year on Mariahilfplatz is a historic Munich Tradition with the first mention of one being held in 1310. The fair originally attracted all types of performers in a wonderful celebration.
Today you can enjoy a carousel ride, all sorts of gastronomy as well as the jumble sale. It might even be possible to find rare and historical items at the sale. Good luck searching!

Long Night of the Munich Museums
The time of year has come again when 80 museums, art galleries, and collections opens their doors to visitors from 6pm to 1am. If you are a fan of art and are particularly nocturnal this might just be the thing for you.
The Long Night of the Munich Museums offers a unique variety of exhibitions, guided tours, special programs, and concerts. You can see all of these things with specially designed MVG shuttle buses that will leave every 10 minutes.
