Mandarin Oriental Winter Dome Dinner

One of the more unique (and special occasion) Munich winter date ideas we can recommend is spending a magical evening in one of the Mandarin Oriental winter domes.

These winter domes are a 8 to 12-person sitting dome on the rooftop terrace of the Mandarin Oriental in Munich. They offer mouthwatering German and Japanese cuisine as well as some of the finest wines in Germany. Not to mention the excellent aesthetics and view you get from this central location!

It is a lovely dinner date idea, especially with the lit candles and romantic ambiance it provides. They offer a buffet service which costs about €50. Comprehensive food options range from German, Italian, gluten-free, vegan, and many more.

Where: Mandarin Oriental // Neuturmstrasse 1,80331 Munich

Opening Hours: All week evenings from 24th November to 28th February. You have to make reservations.

Ice Skating in The City Center

What’s better than a winter ice skating date? How about one directly in the heart of Munich!

The Eiszauber am Stachus is a great central location in Munich to bring your next winter date to. Not only do they have a great program on their website filled with different themes and specials (two for the price of one ice skating on Sundays!), but the location also has a great series of huts attached to it where you can sit and sip on a warm winter beverage after…or perhaps before while you build up your confidence!
